Dr. Vijay Salvi, Dr. Vinay Pandurangi and Dr.Rangnath Jhawar, experienced implantologists and surgeons with a total of over 65 years of work experience, SCIdent was created to restore dignity to aging.
Over years of experience, the founders saw too many elderly or nutritionally compromised patients being turned away by other clinics, told that implants weren’t possible at this stage. These were patients who needed not just new teeth—but a new chance at health, confidence, and normalcy.

With over four decades of clinical excellence, Dr. Vijay Salvi is a name synonymous with advanced dental implantology in India. A graduate of Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai (1978), and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI, USA), he is a respected clinician, educator, and mentor known for his ethical, patient-focused approach to care.
Dr. Salvi’s work has transformed thousands of lives through customized full-mouth rehabilitations and immediate loading protocols — often providing solutions where others saw none. His special expertise in treating medically complex and senior patients has positioned him as a trusted referral for challenging cases across India.
As the Founder of SCIdent Implant Training Institute (SITI) and Co-Founder of the Implant Competence Program, he has mentored countless dental professionals through structured, hands-on training since 2002. His role in shaping the next generation of implantologists is widely acknowledged, making him a cornerstone of modern implant education in the country.
Dr. Salvi is also a founding member of the Indian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO) and a member of the European Association of Osseointegration (EAO), aligning his practice with international standards in clinical precision and patient safety.

Dr. Ranganath Jhawar, MDS, is an internationally trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a global reputation for excellence in immediate loading and zygomatic implantology. Over the past 15 years, he has transformed thousands of lives through full-mouth rehabilitation, complex bone-deficient cases, and cutting-edge surgical solutions.
A postgraduate in Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Jhawar has trained at prestigious institutions including Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital (Mumbai), Operation Smile, Penn State Medical University (USA), and The Hospital for Sick Children (Canada) — blending surgical mastery with a profound understanding of facial aesthetics.
As an international trainer and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for multiple leading dental implant brands, he continues to shape the field through advanced workshops and hands-on mentorship for dentists across India and worldwide.
From premier hospitals in Mumbai and Hyderabad to international podiums, Dr. Jhawar is known for his ability to combine surgical precision with patient-centered care — restoring dignity, confidence, and function for patients who have been told no elsewhere.

Dr. Vinay G. Pandurangi, BDS, is a highly respected Senior Implantologist at SCIdent with over 40 years of clinical experience in general dentistry and implantology. Since earning his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Mumbai in 1983, Dr. Pandurangi has dedicated his career to delivering steady, experience-based implant care — helping patients restore function, confidence, and dignity.
He has further honed his skills through advanced implantology training in Germany and India, bringing global best practices into his treatment plans. Known for his calm, reassuring chairside manner, Dr. Pandurangi is deeply committed to creating clear, sustainable solutions for every patient — especially seniors and those with complex oral health challenges.
Beyond the clinic, he actively mentors young dentists and associates, sharing his extensive practical knowledge and dedication to long-term oral wellness.
